Meaning „Golden Land‟, the Suvarnabhumi
International Airport opened in 2006. The
airport serves 45 million passengers yearly
from all over the world. The International
Airport Code is BKK.
Don Muang Domestic Airport
Opening in 1914, the Don Muang Airport
was the International Airport until 2006
when the new airport opened. Currently,
this airport serves local destinations.
